PhD in Digital Media from the University of Porto, with research focused on the areas of sound and music computing and interactive multimedia systems. He holds a specialist title in electroacoustic composition from the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, a master's degree in Multimedia from the University of Porto and a degree in Composition from ESMAE-IPPorto. He regularly presents work as an artist and researcher in the areas of music creation and performance, as well as in digital arts and creation of interactive musical and multimedia systems.
