Pedro Guilherme de Carvalho Baptista Motta da Silva

Pedro Motta da Silva, holds a specialist title in the areas of Video and Multimedia Production. He is a teacher at the School of Applied Arts – Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute in the field of audiovisual and multimedia production. In 1999, he concluded Media Production degree at the School of Media and Communications - Faculty of Arts & Technology - University of Lincolnshire & Humberside. In 2001 he obtained a master's degree in Multimedia and Audiovisuals Administration from the Haute Ecole «Groupe ICHEC - ISC Saint-Louis - ISFSC» with the thesis “Interactive Television, Setting New Boundaries in Television Advertising”. In parallel with his academic activity, he worked in advertising as a video editor and TV Producer at Publicis agency (Lisbon branch) and in Audiovisual and Multimedia production, both as a freelancer and as a project manager at the vídeo production company Digital Azul. Between 2009 and 2011 he created the production workflow for the program “Mundo Automóvel” (RTP-n / RTP-information, RTP Africa and RTP-Mobile) and was the producer responsible for the first 1300 programs.
