Professors António Carrilho and Luísa Tender, from the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (ESART-IPCB), visited the School of Arts and Tourism (ESAT) at the State University of Amazonas (UEA), Brazil, from 9 to 19 October.

The visit took place under the IPCB–UEA partnership, established in 2024, and included workshops, lectures, and a concert at the ICBEU Theatre in Manaus, where both lecturers performed as soloists with the Amazonas Baroque Orchestra.

Sponsored by the Égide Cultural Association, the initiative aimed primarily to promote ESART’s Master’s Degree in Music, whose Scientific Committee includes both professors.

They were hosted by Professors Luciane Páscoa and Márcio Páscoa from ESAT, who are expected to visit IPCB in 2026, further strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions.
