ESART/IPCB was represented at the celebrations for Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities Day, which took place on June 10 at the emblematic Palacio de Líria in Madrid.

The teachers of ESART’s violin class – Augusto Trindade, Alexandra Trindade, Tiago Santos and Nuno Vasconcelos – took to the stage accompanied by the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, in a concert that celebrated Portuguese culture and talent across borders.

The performance also involved more than two dozen ESART/IPCB students and former students, reinforcing the institution’s role in promoting artistic excellence and the international projection of Portuguese music.

The event was attended by the Minister for Culture, Youth and Sport, Margarida Balseiro Lopes, the Portuguese Ambassador in Madrid, José Augusto Duarte, and the Duke of Alba, among other officials.
