Website for the Castelo Branco UGT

This project, developed within the scope of the Degree in Communication and Audiovisual Design, aims to create and develop a website for the UGTCB—União Geral de Trabalhadores de Castelo Branco, seeking through a simple and attractive design to serve as a vehicle for information, approximation and connection between “UG f y f ”, responding to a long-felt need for this community and trade union structure. Considering that the web is a privileged means of accessing information, and considering that it is important for a social structure like UGT to make information permanently available to associated workers, the website is a way of gathering and making this information available (namely, governing bodies, statutes, congresses, activity plan, social benefits, professional training and respective access conditions, professional insertion for the unemployed, job offers, among others). Since the website also includes a photo gallery and videography (with a record of events and/or outstanding events), the project also includes the collection and processing of images (photographic and video). You will also have all the information regarding the UGTCB contacts and a link to the UGT Nacional website. This website will allow the trade union central to establish greater proximity with workers, with associated unions, which makes it possible for social services and aid to reach more people, contributing to the improvement of the general dynamics and for UGT to fulfill its functions in a more effective and more fully known way.
