Roots of the Soul – Memories of the Christmas Village

This report portrays, from beginning to end, the entire process of producing a documentary developed in the context of the final project of the Degree in Communication and Audiovisual Design.
The objective of the documentary is to treat the author's memories in his village as the motto for the rest of the project's development, through this, it presents places and people who were important throughout the history and growth of Alpedrinha. Through the help of the knowledge of the population and its information, it is possible to share knowledge not only at a cultural and traditional level, but also at a personal level. By demonstrating the emotions felt when telling their stories, they are allowed to get closer to the place and the community.
This project demonstrates not only the importance of these inland locations and all the learning that can be learned from growing up in this environment, where one observes the "oldest" and follows tradition, but also the affection that develops for a place.
