Considering that communication design can be crucial to the success of a company or brand, this project aims to respond to the needs of a new digital and printed communication. As the market becomes more competitive, there is a need to innovate the communication strategy by applying a consistent visual identity, in order to distinguish itself from the competition, by developing a trustworthy, coherent and transversal image and message, to establish a strong connection with its target audience.
In the months that have passed since the launch of the project proposal, different aspects related to the area of communication design have been developed, which are presented during the document. From structuring ideas, analysing and researching data, the lessons taught on the DCA course were put into practice to apply the knowledge the project.
Therefore, with Albimusica as the object of study, this project is based on the foundation and execution in the redesign of the visual identity, applied in an integrated communication strategy to ensure the success and increase in terms of visual communication. With this task completed, the aim is to enhance the shop in the city of Castelo Branco and the surrounding area, in order to make it a benchmark shop for instrumental products and repair for its target audience.
The present report is organized into six chapters. The first is an introductory phase to the project, describing its purpose. The second chapter deals with the theoretical foundation. The third chapter deals with the research phase, analysing the object of study, competitors and reference or inspiration cases. The fourth presents the analysis and diagnosis of the object of study, i.e. the SWOT, the public map and the communication strategy. The penultimate chapter, the fifth, refers to the entire conceptual phase of the project. Finally, the sixth chapter reveals the conclusion retained during the development of this project.
