Estágio na ESART PROJECT FACTORY

The curricular internship, integrated in the Master degree in Interior and
Furniture Design, was been developed on the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas,
workshops, located in the Escola superior de Tecnologia of Castelo Branco, in the
Talagueira Campus.
The choice of the internship had several objectives, being the basis to put into
practice all the knowledge adquired in the execution of projects for the curricular
units and cross them with the knowledge obtained in the intership, taking the most of
a practical experience.
Knowing the work methodologies of the school workshops is an added
value, the partners, suppliers, products, and how it is to be on the other side, not as a
student, but see how the teachers interact and their method of work, execute
furniture projects and discuss them with the trainee, is a fundamental step to grow in
the professional area.
However, this report aims to show the teach method, and how it works in our
institution, and all the work that is carried out, from Interior and Furniture Design,
the methods of designing them and production methodologies through digital
technologies.
The report will be divided into several chapters: introduction, state of
art and internship, where it will be based on the training activity, project activity,
where all the projects made during the internship are referenced, and the work done
to promote the page of the workshops - ESART PROJECT FACTORY.
In short, it is intended with this internship a better perception of Interior and
Furniture Design, a greater relationship with education, being it, the accompaniment
in classes, analog technologies and digital technologies. Allowing the student,
afterwards, the possibility of practice education accompaniment in other’s
institutions.
