This project represents the culmination of the degree in Communication and Audiovisual Design by the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. Here, it is present and deepened all the knowledge acquired during the three years of this degree. This paper aims to elaborate and develop a new visual identity for Beleza do Sal, as well as is communication strategy.
Beleza do Sal is a natural and handmade cosmetics company based in Aveiro, which presents as the basis of its products the salt collected from its salt pans. The development of a visual identity for the company comes from the desire that this company has to mark presence in its market. Thus, here is the whole process of its elaboration, from the contextualization of the themes addressed throughout this project, to its graphic design.
This document goes into depth on several subjects taught during this course, especially those related to the area of Communication Design. A deeper analysis of the company in question, as well as the study and also the analysis of other companies in the same field, are also present here as a comparative analysis and market study. As a conclusion, the graphic design of a new visual identity and the elaboration of the communication strategy are presented in the practical form of all the knowledge acquired in this degree.
