In Western culture, death is viewed with fear and resistance, causing anguish for both those who depart and those who remain. However, it can also be seen as a guide to peace and rest. In Eastern culture, particularly in Buddhist and Taoist philosophies, such as Japanese folklore, death is a natural transition within the cycle of life and rebirth. Acceptance of impermanence brings serenity, freeing the soul from the limits of the material world. This collection reflects these three phases – life, death and rebirth – inviting transformation and peace, showing that there is no need to fear the end of a being's cycle.
