The present investigation aims to describe and analyze a curricular internship, in which it presented a case study, which consisted of Design and Project Management, that is, it was intended to create, a method that not only boosted the team's productivity, but to demonstrate the contributions that communication design makes possible in the production of short-term projects. It was also intended to understand, in the best way, the method of creative design and evaluate whether, in fact, this project enhances and contributes to the process of the final result of a coherent project. Thereby, the investigation started from the theme that has as its starting point, the projects that were developed during the context of the curricular internship, in a visual communication design studio, Alba Design, thus allowing to portray a closer, detailed and true view of the entire process involved, from the stage of the first drafts, to the implementation of the finished products. The realization of the internship had as main objective the acquisition of experience at a personal and professional level, through the realization of real projects and direct contact with the clients and above all with the atelier. For this study, a mixed nature methodology with a qualitative basis was proposed, and, simultaneously with the completion of the internship, an analysis and collection of information on the theme was carried out, which applied a non-interventionist methodology with a qualitative basis, literature review, based on theoretical subjects, methodologies and models defended by other authors, publications and personal experiences of the author. In addition to the research inserted in a non-interventionist methodology, there was also an active investigation with mixed methodologies (interventionist and noninterventionist) carried out in the context of an internship at the ALBA Design studio, for seven months, on which they were observed and they manipulated matters related to Communication Design, having observed, respectively, the internal workflow, the applied methodologies and the failures / opportunities within the studio in question, and carried out projects of different natures. Through the assessment of the State of the Art, the behavior of the ALBA agency and the Case Study, we sought to prove the relevance and importance of this area in organizations and individuals, whether design or not.
