Opening of the exhibition “CENSURADOS” on April 1, 2025

In the year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of April 25, 1974, the School of Applied Arts of IPCB invites everyone to the opening of the exhibition “CENSURADOS” on April 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM.

A journey through the history of censorship, from the Inquisition to the Estado Novo, highlighting the struggle for freedom of expression and the importance of democracy. Among the key moments, the suspension of Jornal do Fundão, a symbol of press repression.

This exhibition is an invitation to reflection and debate. Freedom is not guaranteed forever—it is a responsibility for all of us!
