Exhibition – Pain: Images of the Word

The exhibition, designed with ESART students, aims to visually explore the profound meaning of the poem, published in 2002 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Pain Treatment and Palliative Care Unit at Fundão Hospital. As before, this is an initiative that combines art, medicine and humanism, valuing the aesthetic expression of the experience of pain and hope. The opening is scheduled for 7 November 2025 at the António Salvado Library, where it will remain until 14 November 2025, as part of the conference programme.

This initiative, coordinated by professors Ana Sofia Marcelo, Carlos Reis, Célia Barreto, Isabel Marcos and Neel Naik, involves students from the Communication and Audiovisual Design courses and the CTeSP in Audiovisual Communication.
