ESART screens documentary about Jornal do Fundão – April 30, ’25

Event highlights the importance of regional journalism and commitment to the truth.

On April 30, at 2pm, in Auditorium 1 of ESART-IPCB, the documentary “JORNAL DO FUNDÃO – O SONHO E AS CAUSAS” will be screened, a work that delves into the history and impact of this emblematic regional newspaper, renowned for its commitment to truth and freedom of the press.

After the screening, there will be a debate with Nuno Francisco, director of Jornal do Fundão, providing a unique opportunity to discuss the role of local journalism today, the challenges facing the profession and the importance of regional communication in building an informed society.

Moderator Isabel Marcos (ESART-IPCB) will be in charge, guaranteeing an enriching space for reflection on the past, present and future of the regional press.
