ESART Saxophone Ensemble performs at the Castelo Branco Regional Conservatory

On 3 July 2025, at 6.30pm, the ESART/IPCB Saxophone Ensemble, under the direction of Professor Carlos Canhoto, will take to the stage of the Liszt Auditorium of the Castelo Branco Regional Conservatory for a concert that promises to highlight the versatility and timbral richness of the saxophone.

The programme includes works by Antonín Dvořák, Vincent d’Indy and Edvard Grieg, and will also feature the world premiere of ‘Dimensions’, an original composition by the young musician and ESART student Rafael Nunes.

This concert reinforces ESART’s commitment to valorising contemporary creation, offering the public the opportunity to hear new works first-hand and to witness the emerging talent of its academic community.

Admission is free and the whole community is invited to attend this moment of celebration and young creativity.
