ESART Choir: Portuguese poetry in choral music

The Choir of the School of Applied Arts (ESART) of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB) returns to the Francisco Tavares Proença Júnior Museum on 1 March, starting at 5:30 pm, for a concert conducted by João Pedro Delgado and dedicated to Portuguese poetry in choral music.

In this musical journey between the 15th and 21st centuries, the ESART-IPCB Choir will present works by Joly Braga Santos, Frederico de Freitas, Eurico Carrapatoso, Paulo Bernardino and Tiago Simães, based on texts by Luís de Camões, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, Gil Vicente, Fernando Pessoa, Florbela Espanca and António Ramos Rosa.
