Design Museums: preserving memory, inspiring the future – April 29, ’25

As part of the celebrations for International Design Day in 2025, ESART is hosting a lecture, followed by a round table discussion, on the afternoon of April 29 (Tuesday). The theme chosen is “Design Museums: preserving memory, inspiring the future”, and Dr. Bárbara Coutinho, director of MUDE (Lisbon) and Designer Sofia Meira, from the board of Casa do Design (Matosinhos), have been invited, considering the special importance of underlining the importance of these institutions in safeguarding the material and immaterial heritage of Design, and in their educational role with new generations.
