André Silva selected to join the Neue Philharmonie München

ESART is proud to announce that trumpet student André Silva has been selected to join the Neue Philharmonie München (NPhM), one of the most respected semi-professional orchestras in the Munich region.

Founded in 2005, the Neue Philharmonie München has stood out for its dedication to training young musicians, working in collaboration with experienced soloists and specialists. This innovative model, promoted by the association Musikwerkstatt Jugend e.V., received the prestigious Tassilo-Kulturpreis, awarded by the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung in 2006.

Over the last few years, the NPhM has become an international orchestra, bringing together music students from all over Europe and different parts of the world. This approach not only offers the opportunity to play music at a high level, but also promotes cultural exchange and the creation of friendships across borders.

André Silva’s selection reflects his talent, dedication and excellence as an ESART student. This recognition also highlights the quality of the institution’s teaching and its commitment to training musicians for the international stage.
