Meeting Point Musical Training 2025

On Friday, March 7, the Music Education 2025 Meeting Point will hold a discussion on the relationship between the teaching of Music Education and the subject of Instruments in Music Schools, Professional Schools and Conservatoires.

The first Round Table, scheduled to start at 10.15 a.m., will focus on the aims and objectives of specialized artistic and professional music education, exploring the potential contribution of Music Education in the technical and artistic domains.
The second round table, which will start at 3pm, will address the challenges faced by teachers and students in an arts school, with an emphasis on teaching music education. The session will focus on the controversial topic of “students can’t read because the music teacher doesn’t teach them what they should, and wastes time on what doesn’t matter”, in an attempt to find solutions to the mismatches that are so common in this reality.
