ESART student honored at ArchiRevi Challenge Re-Defining Spaces

Daniela Brandão, a Master’s student in Interior and Furniture Design at the School of Applied Arts of the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute (ESART-IPCB), was the winner of the ArchiRevi Challenge – Re-Defining Spaces, a competition promoted by the Revigrés company.

The student’s project was one of the 20 finalists presented at the 2025 edition of ArchiSummit, which took place between July 9 and 11 at the Beato Innovation District in Lisbon – one of the main international events dedicated to architecture, design, innovation and sustainability in the built environment.

In addition to Daniela Brandão, students Bruna Monteiro, Inês Silva, Jéssica Martins, Beatriz Silva, Camila Antunes, Francisco Mata, Marcelo Silva and Martyna Peliksza (from the 1st year of the Master’s Degree in Interior and Furniture Design), as well as Joana Correia and Mariana Neto (from the 3rd year of the Degree in Interior and Equipment Design) were also finalists.

The winning projects were developed as part of the Interior Design Project I (Master’s Degree) and Interior Design II (Bachelor’s Degree) curricular units, with the support of the Production Laboratory I and Computer-Aided Design II subjects.

With 11 students among the 20 finalists, ESART-IPCB has been recognized for the quality of its teaching and the excellence of the work carried out by students and teachers in the field of interior design.
