12/5/2026
A team from the Covilhã delegation of Conta Lá, comprising journalist Ana Rodrigues and camera operators Nuno Fonseca and João John, visited the School of Applied Arts (ESART) at the Castelo Branco Polytechnic (IPCB) to raise awareness of the specialisation in Portuguese guitar offered within the Bachelor’s degree in Music – Instrumental Track and the Master’s degree in Music.
In addition to the specifics, development and educational context, in the interviews they gave to the television channel, Custódio Castelo and some of the students and graduates from the respective class – Ricardo Eusébio, Sérgio Queirós, Joana Teixeira and Hugo Ramos – shared their personal accounts of their personal and professional relationship with the Portuguese guitar, demonstrating how the knowledge, sensitivity, respect and dedication fostered at ESART-IPCB are essential for building a successful career in music.
The report will soon be available on the platforms where the audiovisual project dedicated to regions and communities from north to south of the country is present, namely cable operators (MEO, NOS and Vodafone) and YouTube.
