Blum furniture design at ESART

On 15 April, between 9.30 am and 1.30 pm, the School of Applied Arts (ESART) at the Castelo Branco Polytechnic (IPCB) will host the Blum showcar.

Of particular interest to students on the Bachelor’s degree in Interior and Furnishing Design and the Master’s degree in Interior and Furniture Design, this exhibition on wheels offers an immersive experience into the world of furniture design.

In the van belonging to Blum, an Austrian multinational specialising in soft-close mechanisms for furniture doors and drawers, visitors will be able to explore real-world solutions that combine design, technology and functionality, as well as understand the importance of innovation, ergonomics and comfort in the development and use of furniture.
