The presente work aims at the rehabilitation of a building located in the city of Castelo Branco, Portugal, which once housed the city’s bus terminal.
The project presented here has the main objective of transforming na uninhabited structure, wich is currently in a very deteriorated state, into a coffee & brunch space.
The cafeteria rehabilitation intervention proposed for this space solves a small parte of the existing probelm in the city of Castelo Branco, wich consists of the number of well-located buildings that are not being used. The purpose of this project is to use onde of these buildings to create something that contributes to the city based on a comercial model that will be greaty appreciated by residentes and visiors, such as a Coffee and brunch place. Furthermore, the purpose of this project is to provide something that the city needs, such as a space where students can carry out their work and enjoy a coffee at the same time.
The proposal also aims to take advantage of the space in order to make ir visually attractive for tourists and habitants, built with a modern design city ‘s development in this aspect.
