Getting used to the stage [2025]

It is normal to be afraid of the stage. So normal, in fact, that pianists sometimes long for the concert to end, as if the moment of performance were just another obstacle to overcome in life.

In order to enjoy the stage, we need to get used to it. With this in mind, students on the bachelor’s and master’s degree courses in Music Education at the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco will give weekly piano recitals in a familiar environment: the classroom, throughout the second semester of the current academic year.

From 16 February to 5 June 2026, on Tuesdays (all dates and places are subject to confirmation), between 2 and 3 p.m., in room 1.4.6 at ESART. Audience limited to available space.
