Exhibition “Musical Iconography in the Churches and Chapels of Funchal”
The School of Applied Arts (ESART–IPCB) will host, from 25 November to 5 January, the travelling exhibition Musical Iconography in the Churches and Chapels of Funchal, created by researchers Paulo Esteireiro and Luzia Rocha from CESEM – Centre for the Study of Sociology and Musical Aesthetics, in partnership with the Conservatory – School of Arts of Madeira and the Regional Directorate for Culture of Madeira.
The opening event is scheduled for 25 November, starting at 5:00 p.m. with a talk by researcher Luzia Aurora Rocha, followed by a musical performance at 5:40 p.m. and the official opening of the exhibition at 6:00 p.m. The musical moment is organised by the School of Applied Arts. The exhibition will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
