The collection explores the duality between repression and freedom, using inner monsters as visual metaphors for trauma and oppression. Rather than a dark representation, the monsters are adorned with flowers and vibrant colours, creating a contrast between pain and beauty. Satire and humour soften the theme of mental health, addressing the unconscious in a playful way. Oversized and asymmetrical clothing suggests internal chaos, while layers, ribbons, and petals symbolise transformation and self-knowledge. The combination of light and stiff fabrics reinforces the duality between lightness and emotional weight.
