“Ser de Memória” (Being of Memory) is a collection inspired by the narrative I created, entitled “Etéria”, and by Ailer's tragic journey, which explores the essence and profound damage that arise from the relentless pursuit of an illusory ideal. It reflects both Ailer's physical dissolution into the world of dreams and the emotional disconnection and fragility of identity resulting from this escape from reality. In a poetic and melancholic atmosphere, the collection expresses the conflict between the desire to escape and the cost of that choice, a threshold where presence and absence, reality and fantasy intertwine. Is Etéria, then, an escape from reality or death for freedom?
