Graphic Coherence in Publications: The Role of Design

This document addresses the area of Editorial Design, based on the analysis of the object of study and the project developed during the curricular internship at the Center for Editions and Graphic Arts (NEAG) of the Conservatório Escola Profissional das Artes da Madeira, Eng.º Luiz Peter Clode (CEPAM). A mixed, interventionist methodology was adopted, resulting from active research through the internship project, and non-interventionist, resulting from observation and criticism of the literature in the study area. This document contains a theoretical framework of some Design specialities related to project analysis and development.
