Exam Preparation Audition – Beatriz Magalhães and Rúben Fernandes

The public presentation of the singing exams, before the final exam, plays a crucial role in the pedagogical process, as it gives the student the opportunity to experience the performance in real conditions of pressure and interaction with the public. This moment helps develop the singer’s confidence, allowing them to deal with anxiety and perfect their vocal technique in situations that mimic the reality of a concert or show. In addition, the experience of singing in front of an audience encourages reflection on the use of artistic expression and communication, fundamental elements for the growth of the performer. Preliminary performances can also provide constructive feedback from teachers and peers, contributing to better preparation and refinement of the interpretation before the final exam.
