Isabel Lopes de Castro is a Communication Designer and teacher at the School of Applied Arts of the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.
She has a degree in Communication Design (1997) from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, a postgraduate degree in Communication Design and New Media (2011) from the same university, and a Specialist of Recognised Experience and Professional Competence in the area of Audiovisuals and Media Production from the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (2015).
She has been working as a Communication Designer since 1997, having been part of teams in Lisbon design studios such as Finíssima, Ricardo Mealha, Atelier and Flúor, where she mainly developed visual identity and editorial design projects. From June 2015 to December 2017 she worked as a strategic consultant and coordinator of the Lojas com História project. Since 2012, she has been developing projects as a freelancer.
