Igor Loureiro won 2nd prize in the XII Cidade de Vigo String Competition

Igor Loureiro, a 3rd year student on ESART’s Degree in Music – Instrument Variant (Cello), under the guidance of Professor Miguel Rocha, won 2nd prize in the prestigious XIII Cidade de Vigo String Competition, held between 4 and 8 December 2024.
This competition, which brings together top-level string talent, celebrates excellence and dedication in classical music. Congratulations to Igor on this fantastic accolade!
